I actually remember it being a tweet, not an article. I tried to find it for you, but didn't have any luck. I do remember that the tweet used either "PTSD" or "trauma" to describe the experience.

I don’t remember seeing an article, but there were a couple of well-distributed memes showing TBoys on Twitter complaining that it’s triggering them seeing their faces next to the faces of natural humans, and I think (maybe?
