If a war starts, the cities are the first targets to go and the very last place you want to be.

You had me until you used the word "boycott". That is the same as not doing anything because it's as effective as voting is. The only thing they will ever understand is violence. Now, we still insist it's "not the answer," that tolerating abuse is "civilized." And oppressive regimes couldn't happen today.
