Has anyone ever experienced time dilation where the world appears to be running slowly in relation to your own thinking and actions?

Ive found this can occur in sports or life threatening situations for example. If so do you have any explanation for the experience?

You're welcome. Would you mind sharing your friends experiences with me? I don't know anybody else that this has happened to, and have never told anybody about it because it is just too far removed from the way people normally perceive things to be able to accept it and not dismiss me as being insane.
