Yes, but there were no Jews in the old testament. That is as people think and know of Jews today. Today's Jews are different peoples. 9% of today's Jews are of Esau/Edom. 90% are Turks from the Steppes of Russia. Christ came to reform the Hebrew religion. Then the Hebrew religion became known as Christianity. Israelites became Christian. That is basically the story of Acts. The words Jew and Gentile are not found in the Hebrew and Greek text. Many times, such as Romans 2:14-15, 9:24-25 and Ephesians 2:11, those "Gentiles" are actually people of the Ten Northern Tribes scattered far off, abroad. Christ did not fail in His mission. " I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24. "They were peopled by descendants of the Hebrew Race." Ptolemy on the Western Isles of Britain and Ireland.
