They claim to be a non-profit that's interested in the security and privacy of Internet users. They run Tor exit nodes, and have a program where if you become a "member" at a certain level they'll reward you with a piece of hardware and essentially unlimited cellular broadband.

$500 for the first year and $400 for the second isn't bad if you're in a decent coverage area. They're up front and say it's not fast, you'll probably get no more than 40mbps download (which is still decent in a lot of places!)

yea, that's what made me suspect it when i was reading your post lol

I find any business that offers services where no actual "physical labour"is needed for the most part to keep said business thriving, is generally the kinds of businesses kikes like to get into en mass, because more of them can siphon off of it without totally compromising the business model (imagine work crews doing road repair quoting based on a crew of 12 and having 4 people show up everyday instead)

I've been looking for a fallback system, but this one seems wrong.

I've been using an IoT plan with a Cradlepoint router, it's only 64kbps but it's unlimited, cheap, and fast enough to get an email out or browse (slowly) if it's absolutely necessary. Can't beat $40 a year.
