If anyone hasn't seen it yet and can, they should binge watch all the episodes. Shows lose something when there's a year between batches of episodes. If the choice is a thumbs up or down, I'd go up. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Season 1 was good. Season 2 not nearly as good. Everything else after (new seasons + merchandising) will just be a cash grab.

It's not the greatest show ever, but it's entertaining. There's some agenda pushing, and honestlyI don't even know if there's any show without it.

I only saw season 1, but I thought it was pretty good.
- Winona Ryder was surprisingly good as a lunatic
- Nice to see Mathew Modine again
- 80s feel / look was spot on
- +1 for D&D
- Interesting premise, some decent character development (the cop I though was done well)

I watched the first season; wasn't bad. Wasn't great either. I would say it's just an average show, but the average quality has dropped, so it's now above average.

Not sure which season I watched. It was about a girl that escaped from a government facility. Everytime she screamed she would destroy stuff. She screamed one time too many, destroyed some monster, and herself with it. It seemed disjointed and hard to follow. Might of been okay if I could of tracked down season one online, and started from the beginning, but what I watched was nothing special, so not worth the effort.

Back when I had Comcast, I used to see lots of (supposedly) SciFi Channel exclusives, and most were equally mediocre. I suppose it might win when run against a Troma movie, but not by much. Anyone that would pay for Stranger Things must be desperate to throw away some money. That said, I'm well aware Netflix does have some shows worth paying for....I was quite the fan of their cartoon The Adventures of Puss in Boots (TV Series 2015–2018). Lucky me, I found it free to watch online!
