Serious question, how do you kill them? I am a sentimental faggot when it comes to tiny adorable creatures, is there a best humane method for everyone? Or do I just need to cut off the head quickly and get it over with?

I bend paperclips into little hooks and hang 5-10 by a foot around the rim of a bucket. Off with the head. Hold it upside down over a bucket for about 30 seconds until it calms down. Hang it by it's foot and do another bird and so on. When the rim is full, it's time to start skinning. It's quick.

That makes good sense. I can't stand the idea of being inhumane, ideally I want them to live well and die as painlessly as possible. I can overcome my own issues easily if I do it right.
