It used to be vaccines were a good thing. Stuff like Polio, Measles, etc. were very real and dangerous threats and vaccines made what appears to be an obvious difference in their frequency. Polio was almost wiped out until vaccines because a "you must because someone who isn't a doctor says so." - I've seen a billboard here in town about "Let's wipe out Polio!" I've posted before this new stuff probably was a bit of a panic at first because it hit harder at the start, but the amount of fear and hysteria pushed by the media and the government tells me it's about control, not health.
