there are ZERO new motorcycles worth the money. None, zip, zilch, nada. Nevermind that they are all souless, no character, no appeal. It's that reason I got out of motorcycles after decades as a mechanic. Everything's built by committee, nothing unique, different or Interesting.

BTW, you really ought to spend a year on 30hp. Nothing like learning to make the most of the available HP to stop being a "moar HP" faggot and actually become a motorcyclist. Ditto with spending time on a Harley (and a dual-sport, and a standard, and a....) they all have something to give and teach you to be less of a 1 note faggot.

But seriously have you actually ridden one? The T7 is meant to complete with ADVs not dual-sports and in that regard it's a ground breaking bike. But if you're comparing it to a 500 EXC then of course it's too heavy, it's hardly under powered though.

Klr pre 2005, specific years for the dr650 are better. Drz400 is underpowered especially if you wanna go long distance.

If money isn’t an problem then just go with the bmw touring dual sport bike, it can do anything

I don’t know if this fool has real money, but if you’re starting out and you’re going dial soort and you don’t know fuck all about bikes then the pre 2005 klr 650 is a fucking cockroach and it will never die. You could likely not work on it once for a year and it will start and ride for you reliably.

Personally I ride a bmw 1200 gs and recommend that to anyone who wants a bike that can ride in every situation
