We've bought expensive "herloom" seeds on down to dollar store seeds... the cheap dollar store seeds consistently out-perform everything else. No clue why, but I'm not complaining. One place I'll NEVER recommend is Baker Creek, their shit had the absolute worst germination rates, and their prices are bouncing off the top. Pretty advertising, a well crafted backstory, but fuck them for their crap product. Tried for 3 years with their shit, always thinking it was something I was doing... till I supplemented with dollar store seeds and those had no issues.
