It all depends on what you're working toward. I work jobs I don't particularly like because I enjoy having a roof over my head and food in my belly. I could have a much more luxurious roof if I was willing to work certain other jobs for certain other people, but I don't do that because I know what I would be working toward if I did so: the destruction of my people. If what you are working toward is righteous, you will suffer almost any toil with pride and satisfaction. If what you are working toward is wicked, even the slightest inconvenience feels intolerable.
