I'm getting a hand me down from the in-laws. They went to pellet stove. It's just a small pot bellied stove. I can't wait because that's free cooking during the winter as well. I use cast iron so it's perfect
That's cool. Better than no wood stove, especially. See what you can do to fix any leaks it might have.
We cooked on ours once just to say we did. I do set a kettle on it for humidity sometimes.
We already have a lot for humidity and a thermo electric fan for circulation. I don't see us cooking in it for every meal but to pre heat the skillet or make eggs I can see myself using it haha
