The most reasonable argument I could make is this:
The availability of low-wage immigrant labor artificially effects the P&L of American business in multiple ways:
- Low-wage & illegal immigrant labor sets a floor that forces American employees & American business to compete with illegal immigrant labor (see: off the books, cash, etc)
- American businesses are forced to adhere to the debt slavery that is taxation (see: theft) because they don't have the same "protections" as illegal immigrant labor
- Low-wage & illegal immigrant labor allows Americans who are constantly fighting a losing battle against increasing taxation to "stay in" the system comfortably for longer as opposed to fighting for their rights back
It's a constant, negatively reinforcing cycle of catch-22s.
Illegal aliens also send a lot of their money back to their home country. Essentially this is taking US dollars completely out of the US economy. This is an often overlooked part of the illegal alien, business model argument.
Yeah, the list of consequences is deep. I was trying to illustrate just from how it fucks with the average Joe, while also contributing to his quality of life. Big catch-22.
Most of us are familiar, whereas the average Joe remains ignorant. I completely agree with you that the list of consequences is absolutely horrendous.
