Perfect. I have dental insurance on the gawd awful auto-deduct payments, and bloody well hate it. Have to watch it like a hawk to avoid overdrafts.
Oh man you are telling me, I hate auto pay. Like HATE it. I get why some people like it and why it seems to becoming more popular but I personally don't want any autopayments coming out of my bank account.
Obviously considering popularity I'll make it an option but I would not blame anyone for only donating on a as it can be afforded and wanted basis once donations are live.
Glad to hear it. I had two checking accounts, one for local stuff, and the other for internet shopping. Now I had to open a third one just to accommodate the dental insurance, because I don't want them having access to my regular ones (and maybe over-drafting me).
When I donated to bleepingcomputer (big mistake!), it was three $10 shots over a year...so not much, but probably more than they got from most of their tightwad users.
