Well I'm not a fucking ostentations nuveau riche fancypants like my neighbor who has a brand new Beneteau something something 35. It looks nice, but he'd die in a storm while I'd just be wet and miserable and totally alive and still sailing. Of course he doesn't sail that boats in storms, because he's not suicidal. And it's rather pleasant, so I suppose he got his money's worth. But I'd spend that on a Porsche if I were him and have an old grouchy 60s sailboat like I do because her grouchiness matches my own!
