Respectfully, the translation of the word jealous from Greek isn't at all God telling you that he has human emotions. He is telling you that you're doomed if you take another obviously false deity besides him. The connotation of "jealously" is only because of its English context. It does not carry this fickle meaning in Greek. God is telling you plainly that he will not accept it. You cannot do it. You can't make up and attribute characteristics of the one who was never made, and the one who will never die, to false deities.
