I'm acutely aware that death is coming for me and that I have relatively little time left. Therefore my time has become very precious and my choices really matter. I think one must get to a certain age before the fact that death is coming for you becomes very real and not just a , oh yeah , some day I'm gunna die thought.

I think about it more than I used to (which was about zero times per month). Like F451 said, my goal is to make sure I'm right with the Creator.

I agree. If you feel like you have a good relationship with God, and you've done your best to overcome your vices, you shouldn't have anything to fear.
