I'm acutely aware that death is coming for me and that I have relatively little time left. Therefore my time has become very precious and my choices really matter. I think one must get to a certain age before the fact that death is coming for you becomes very real and not just a , oh yeah , some day I'm gunna die thought.

I have lived more of my life than I have remaining. It occupies my thoughts. It also steers me steady in my daily life, so yes, I think about it a lot.
