I'm acutely aware that death is coming for me and that I have relatively little time left. Therefore my time has become very precious and my choices really matter. I think one must get to a certain age before the fact that death is coming for you becomes very real and not just a , oh yeah , some day I'm gunna die thought.

Since my son was born last year, February 29th, a leap year baby, I have been too aware of the fragility of life and my eventual demise.
