Title.

Went out with some friends last night, who are completely oblivious to what is happening to this country. They have drastically changed over the past year. Every time they would say something patently absurd, I would laugh and laugh; they didn't understand why. It's crazy to me that lifelong friends, rather successful in their professional and personal lives, would fall for such obvious, blatant lies. I do think laughing in their faces is working though.

most of the time laughter is just a symptom of schizophrenia.

they are successful because they always believe and do what theyre told, not because of skills that they possess. theyre not intelligent but like slaves they bow before their master. however successful they may be, their whole existence is pathetic.

Thats a little far dont you think? What other reaction is reasonable in the face of what is?

im not trying to stop you in any way. but i personally dont care for artificial laughter and for general falseness.

Its not artificial. I really am amused. Also pissed and frightened. But the only one i can safely act on is the amusement. So i laugh.
