I did. She said she's very open minded to both sides, which is lame that she isn't totally against it- but I'm glad she's really looking into it. I don't know how a person can see both sides and choose to circ.
It's one thing to see both sides when it is regarding consenting adults modifying their bodies. There aren't two sides when a permanent surgery is perpetrated on an non-consenting individual. All evidence points towards: waiting = more options, more humane, & better results.
Good luck, and thank you for your efforts. It seems in general a penis is very difficult for a woman to understand how it functions and feels. Many women seem to consider it no big deal to literally cut off 20k nerve endings and permanently expose the glans. As a foreskin-equipped man, I can unequivocally say that circumcision is a MASSIVELY BIG DEAL.
So again, thank you and all the best!
No problem. I swear, I've always been naturally red-pilled on shit like this. My dad and brothers were circumsized but I remember going back-and-forth with my mom about it. She was justifying all the reasons why "it had to be done" and I remember easily knocking down the arguments when I was a preteen in the 1990s. If questions arise about why dad and son "don't look the same" just fucking explain that we don't cut baby penises anymore. The "it's cleaner" argument- we don't rip out teeth and replace with synthetics because we may get a cavity someday. Just fucking learn how to wash. I remember my mom saying "you just don't understand" but I always ALWAYS knew it was a fucked up thing to do to a NEWBORN BABY.
Newborn babies are totally assaulted when they exit the womb (which is traumatic enough). Goop in the eyes, vaccines, circumcision. This is why I use a birth center and refuse all that shit.
Anyways, I'm also pregnant with baby #3 and will not know if it's a boy or girl until the birthday. My baby will enter in this workd in a warm and caring way and will not be poked and sliced and tortured.
Anyways, thanks for everything!
You sound like an awesome woman. Hope to have kids someday, and have researched birthing centers/home birth. There's so much wrong with the hospital approach to the natural process of birth.
Good for you for having common sense. I cannot believe that some people think it's totally normal and fine to just cut up a baby dick with minimal anesthesia/numbing.
