L. Ron Hubbard was a monster -- literally, a psychopath. Everything that came out of his mouth was a lie. He was a science fiction writer who decided he could get rich by starting his own religion. That's what he did. He invented Scientology on the premise that scientists are the priests of the new age. Scientology sustains itself by blackmailing its members. They get "clear" by babbling all their dirty little secrets to a person in the cult, who records it all for later use against them. Auditing is just another form of Roman Catholic confession. Compared to Scientologists, the Jews are saints.
