I buy this by the gallon. Only soap I use to wash myself in the shower. You can use it to brush your teeth too. Only stuff that will get the funky smell out of paddling gear too.

I have a friend, a true American, who makes a few batches of homemade soap every year, and he shares it with me and mine.

Quality homemade soap is out there, just do a quick search for "homemade soap" or "lye soap". And there are recipes and kits available for making your own.

Yeah, making soap is not something I ever feel like doing either. Plus you've got a long bake while it cures. I just need to do a big batch and get it over with so I don't have to think about it for a while.

Actually I am hardly ever using soap these days, unless actually dirty. Warm water and scrubbing works very well and actually results in less BO.
