The weak coastal dwellers also can not handle actual weather on top of the of the other factors of rural life that keep the parasitic class in the ‘tourist’ grouping.
I have seen many city dwellers come and then leave in my 16 years here, most of them lasting less than 3 years. It takes about 10 years to become a real neighbor, and unless your children are born and raised here till they at least hit puberty, you will virtually never become a ‘local’.
