The way blocking was, you'd have to seek out their comments to know they exist. That's not forcing you to acknowledge them. Now they can't make comments at all.

If you go to any mainstream site you know it’s not free speech, but if you go to a site that advertises itself as free speech then you should respect the right of others to reply to you.
