“It's our position that everyone may use their freedom of speech for any purpose except to limit others' freedom of speech.”

How does this square with someone commenting then blocking replys?

Is the right of reply not part of free speech?

You can edit your comments to expand your argument. You can link to a comment with a new post and continue whatever it is you want other people to have the chance to see. Post screenshots (saw this just a little while ago, in fact). You can reply to your own comment instead of theirs.

You can't force someone to listen to/engage with you if they don't want to. That's some Harvey Weinstein "I'm gonna make you watch me shower" shit.

19 times out of 20, it isn't about enlightening anyone, or challenging someone's views. It's about getting the last word.

It is not about forcing anyone to listen, it is about allowing people to listen should they want to.

If you only need to skip through 19 comments to reach the 20th to find something of value then you will very quickly learn a lot. Finding truth is not an easy thing.

The dream of an echo chamber full of truth is an illusion.
