“It's our position that everyone may use their freedom of speech for any purpose except to limit others' freedom of speech.”

How does this square with someone commenting then blocking replys?

Is the right of reply not part of free speech?

That is a very naive view of what is taking place here and in the world beyond. Quite apart from the fact that we all have biases and gaps in knowledge which benefit from being challenged to consider new information and to defend our beliefs, there are also those whose intentions are not altruistic and who have a vested interest in the suppression of knowledge and understanding.

You know why Russia doesn't have major degeneracy allowed in public? Take a guess. Either you control the speech or eventually the enemy does. It's as simple as that. Moralfagging muh free speech by the right has gotten the left into the control they have today.

The degeneracy thrives in many other ways in an unassailable one party system controlled by oligarchs. If you have no right to free speech then there is no right that you can defend, not even the right to life.

Free speech is a psyop at this point to keep the right from taking over. It allows others to slowly chip away at your ideology until they can take over. In what way does having free speech help with keeping an ideology alive? Your argument is similar to the arguments libs have for allowing refugees into the US. "Only a small amount of them are terrorists. So we shouldn't bar them all from coming in". That doesn't justify allowing a chance for destruction. Same reason for free speech. There's no logical reason to give your enemies a chance to fight back.

Edit: oh wait, you're not Morbo
