You should have the ability to block them from your view, but not to block them from everyone else. Just because you don’t want to see a particular comment doesn’t mean that you should have the right to prevent me from seeing it.
I don't understand why you're tripping so hard. Most people being blocked are retard trolls. If you're a genuine person looking for discussion then you're not going to be blocked.
That is a very naive view of what is taking place here and in the world beyond. Quite apart from the fact that we all have biases and gaps in knowledge which benefit from being challenged to consider new information and to defend our beliefs, there are also those whose intentions are not altruistic and who have a vested interest in the suppression of knowledge and understanding.
