Tell us of the first time your dad let you take the car out TheAmerican.
I dunno. Mine would get tired and want to take naps on the highway so he'd have us drive to the main exit. We had to get off of and then we'd pull over and swap again. I was pretty young. Maybe like 12-13ish.
By 14 I was driving myself to work since nobody would ever remember to pick me up after my shifts.
get tired and want to take naps
Is that the full story?
Eh. He was given an adderall prescription ages ago. Pretty common for him to stay up for days on end then crash.
Ive ridden that dragon myself. Dont get me started on psychiatry and psychology. Its a harmful religion.
How was the stew!
I never made it, not yet I better do it soon though
Just do it. You cant fuck it up. You dont have to fuck with the flour and all that. You can literally just dump some veggies in water and boil it till they soften. Dont be afraid.
I mean I just haven't got around to it. My dog's been sick the last couple days
I bought my own first car, my father had nothing to do with it.
You never drove his rickety, nigger rigged jalopy before you purchased your own hoopty?
Nope, I bought my own first car for 50$ it didn't even have brakes.
My parents were divorced at the time, so it was actually my mother who was teaching me how to drive. I hit a tree.
I was 12. The car was a '51 Willys Wagon with 3 on the tree and electric over-drive. Became a regular thing after school. Pop's didn't know. That'll teach him to leave the keys in the car...
What is electric overdrive?
That was a Warn product, that throwing the switch would engage an additional gear inside a box added to the rear of the trans.
You had a father? Faggot.
I took it out once without his permission. That is a well known piece of family lore. A tragic story involving one dodge aries wagon color maroon and one stone wall.
Ha ha ha, I have a very similar story
I caught shit about that incident for years
My dad wouldn't let me or any of my siblings (7) drive his car. Bought my own car in 1972...1965 Chevy Impala for $50.00
The fucking catalina wine mixer!
I don't remember, probably to go-to catechism. Or only to school and back. Then work. Then girlfriends house. And only the designated vehicle unless otherwise specified. He always had a fleet. Yard was full. All ran. All had tags and insurance.
