I've made some headway on an app I'm building, did some serious job hunting with good results, worked out regularly, and haven't had a drop of booze.

I got way too drunk, cooked some bad food, then had explosive diarrhea in the company bathroom the following day.

I hope it was in the clean shitters up front, near the receptionist.

Started losing weight as I gained a lot during this pandemic crap. No booze,no cigarettes(quit cold turkey style), healthy foods, fitness and lots of walking outside. My main goal is to get back in shape in June or July at the latest. Mens sana in corpore sano, obviously once I started changing my habits and working out, I started feeling both physically and mentally better.

I got laid 3 times. At my age I'll take that as a win.

Haven't accomplished much else because our local government is fucking us in the ass over the sniffles again.

Made headway outta the bullshit psyop we are all in.

My openmindedness has caused serious lucid DREAMS.

I only get super lucid dreams after coming off of a drinking binge. The first night of fitful sleep is always wild.

Quit an addiction and a bad relationship.

Congrats. Been trying to stop smoking cigarettes, but I love the excuse to take breaks and stand in the sun

You don't need the cigarette to take a break and enjoy a moment in the world. I do however drink coffee every morning and I have no plans to give it up.

I've pooped 36 times.

EDIT: I read the fine print on your post - Congrats on no alcohol for 40 days!

  • Refinishing an end table owned by my great grandparents, 50% complete.
  • Took 100% control of home finances. Wife used to manage some.
  • Got rid of 20% of stuff in garage, closets and shed to lighten load on life.
  • Cleaned and painted garage and created a work / project space. (See refinishing project)
  • Convinced wife to join me in eating 95% home cooked meals and begin (slowly) exercising. (The meals actually started last year.)
  • Began investing in stocks. (Not sure if this is wise decision yet.)
  • Increased retirement savings to 15% of income.
  • Increased expectations of and assistance for my team at work so we can all earn larger, more consistent bonuses.

Interesting, I’m doing better than I realized with 2021. Thanks for asking this question so i could pause and reflect on my plan-in-action.

It's so easy to focus on the next step and not consider the recent steps taken

Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better.
