My whole family was asymptomatic while repeatedly spreading strep to my sister. This is my only experience with asymptomatic disease spread which being family was close contact. Never seen it as described with wuflu. I think that there is evidence that asymptomatic spreading of the China virus is fake news in my unstudied opinion.
Now, if I were going to deliberately spread a respiratory disease this is exactly the story I would tell. Just sayin.
If I were going to deliberately spread a respiratory disease, I would sell medicine that suppresses the symptoms, so sick people continue to leave their homes. There is an advertisment campaign in Germany selling exact such a stuff (telling people that they can avoid embarrassing sneezes while waiting in a line).
