The "90 days" are from studies they made a year ago: they checked the amount of antibodies, and in some cases, the antibodies vanished fast. Later, other studies found that most people get t-cell immunity instead. The immunity lasts for years, even for the (UK, South African, ..) variants. Otherwise, we would see millions of reinfections already, like in seasonal viruses.
