Whomever is 22% funnier.
It is "Whomever are 22% funniester."
Sigh.
I saw both examples lol
I do not understand how my brain works with regards to how I learned to read and write. Mass memorization of proper grammer regurgitated by instinctive memory.
So I trust you on the usage, it looks(sounds) proper. Writing is just conveying ones thoughts with words on a medium right?
Does having to read the Bible have an effect here? Learning of tense to discern the context is important. There is much theological debate on if the Bible speaks of historical times only or if it speaks of this time(prophecy yet to be fulfilled). As well as the differing philosophies with regards to the "Church" all based on grammatical arguments.
Whosoever needs to see more usage imo
With respect to the Bible, it is always "whomever" regardless of subject or indirect object because is sounds cooler.
