The three books were setting on a shelf at a family members home. I was young (5/6 grade? Idk, I was young) and learning about the civil War. They were given to me. I picked up the first one and never put them down.

Their not Atlas Shrugged thick, but their thick. Jakes did a lot of research for those books. I was just a kid, but I liked them.
