It's space adventure comedy. You can't not fall in love. The" fan service" is great for both genders. Plenty of action and stupid laughs. It was basically killed by bad timing. Goram shame.
It's been years since I've seen it and I only watched it once (*as in watched the whole series once). It was fun scifi and the chicks in it are cute.

It wasn't shit... they just tried to wrap up a series with a movie.
They did it with Farscape too. But they tried to make everything and everyone look "cool in the movie", it just didn't look like the unpretentious series.

I didn't watch it, just the movie. Judging by the movie, it's not. I didn't get the appeal.
The movie was made for fans of the show to have some sense of closure to the series. It's not meant to be watched by people who've not seen the show.
