Women don't do things to make you attracted to them. They do things to one up other women. And they'll keep trying to one up each other even after they've reached comically over-exaggerated levels.
Lips thin with age. So women wear lipstick and over-exaggerate the color to one up those with thinner lips. Then they plump them up to one up others. Then they get comically big in order to one up more.
They don't care that it looks fake or unnatural. They're one upping others.
You can call it stupid, call it ugly, and they won't care what you think. All they care about is what other women think.
This is exactly why. Even if they already look great there’s also an element of “I got my lips done and you didn’t”
They do this with all kinds of things and they’re a lot easier to understand if you kept this in mind.
Cosmetic procedures are a status symbol. I forgot where but in some South American country women will wear bandages on their noses to pretend they got a nose job.
This is also the reason why western women often choose comically large and unnaturally shaped breasts as augmentation. A lot of trophy wives want other women to know they've had work done because it shows that they can afford it or their husbands thought they were worth it.

I agree with you. Many of my friends have had filler done because they thought the thinning of their lips made them look old.
Sadly they go overboard instead of just doing a little.
