1 pack of Marlboro Reds are $3.63 in California (my sauce - http://www.cigaretprices.com/California.html). So if you go through one pack a day that's $1324.95. Do you think you'll have a need for that money?

Don't bet on it, I've found other sources that priced them closer to $10 a pack. But that seemed wildly wrong and I'm not a smoker so I don't pay attention to those prices.
