He is of course completely wrong, lots of types of controller chips have access to ram pages used for DMA space, especially some pci devices (SATA,USB,Thunderbolt,etc) when they have bus grant time in most architectures.

China will swap your ARM cores on your USB or SATA controller with a Mossad-style hacker version of an ARM core with built in exploits only seen via scanning electron microscope. Using FPGA would avoid that assumedly, using a true open source RISC-V SATA controller.

I assume from other peoples remarks that the admin censoring makes people flee, more than the disenchanting does. There are many many other genuine legal free-speech sites with about the same community size as Poal or larger for me to flee to and try out. This is possible because Poal is abnormally small, and even post-voat, is not keeping the voat immigrants.
