My wife's brother was running his mouth about some "poundmetoo" and "untested rape kits".

I just asked how many of those kits were untested because the prosecution already had a confession from the perpetrator.

Fuckers face almost fell off. Ruined a perfectly good vacation with that question.

Ha you're good. But, I am of that opinion actually.

From here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5035952/

"There is—at least in theory—no reason why diets comprised entirely of plants, minerals, and synthetically-based ingredients (i.e., vegan diets) cannot meet the necessary palatability, bioavailability, and nutritional requirements of cats and dogs."

"A growing body of evidence appears to indicate that dogs and cats can survive, and indeed thrive, on nutritionally-sound vegetarian and vegan diets."

The reason "they're carnivores, though" doesn't work is because while yes cats are carnivores, which means they need specific nutrients, these nutrients can simply be synthetically produced and added to a vegan cat food.

But isn't it a bit stupid to add creatinine to vegan cat food when a cat could just eat what it evolved to eat in the first place?

Like, is it an ego thing? I don't get it.

It just seems a lot like "a solution in search of a problem" mentality.

That's beside the point. The question is not "which is easier?", it's "is it possible?".

What costs more? That would be my primary question.

Mad scientist.

I halla.

I still don't wish harm on animals because they can't say "no".

I wish harm on humans. They can say "no" but it doesn't mean anything because they're human.
