Forum sliding is a thing and was a huge problem on voat. All day long many people would slide. Anytime a topic got traction they would repost that article to divide commentary and obscure previous discussions. Especially if noteworthy, related information was provided in previous comments.

There were many closed groups in Voat, people who have blocked all subs except the few where their friends resided. So they reposted links just because they haven't seen them in other subs. Maybe this is inevitable and will happen here too, sooner or later .

I usually just catch the tech posts. Usually those are quality. I haven't noticed any "odd behavior" if that's what you mean.

Well I'm still new here but it doesn't seem to me like points really mean anything here. I suppose i heard about being able to get your own sub a certain level but that's about it. Is there any reason to farm points if thats what they are after?
