I've been trying to get it to not do that, and just open in the same tab, that way I can just use the button on my mouse to go back.

I can't find any settings on Brave or Poal to change that?

Maybe clear your cache. It could be the result of an update.

You could start by refreshing the page with 'Ctrl + F5.' If that doesn't work, you might need to go to the settings and clear the entire cache. Found this (kinsta.com) in a random google search. It depends on your browser, so trying ctrl+f5 first is worth a try.

Note that clearing the entire cache will clear all 'remember me' options and shit like that.
