over the years i've learnt what works from experience and reading... as far as i'm aware all the b vitamins are the secret. if you have lots of b vitamin rich foods before and after drinking you will suffer less. i believe this completely whether it's true or not based on my own repeated experience. i haven't had a terrible hangover for years because i understand alcohol strips your body of electrolytes and b vitamins... hence i make sure to load up on them.
