You don't burn for eternity. The book of Revelation says the damned are thrown into a lake of fire where they die the "second death".

Where does it say it's not for eternity? Then what happens after this second death?

There's nothing in the bible that says people burn forever in hell. It doesn't go into detail on what the second death is. I would imagine it's exactly what it sounds like. You simply cease to exist. That's what many people think is waiting for them after death anyway so I guess they won't be too disappointed
