a program that converts windows to linux :)

ok ok

i'm writing a bash script for processing music files - convert, repair errors, view a spectrograph, tag, trim silence, integrity check, rebuild, write gain tags, tag to file, file to tag

the script relies largely on 3rd party utils which are (i believe) all available for win and nix : 'eyeD3' 'ffmpeg' 'ffplay' 'ffprobe' 'loudgain' 'mp3info' 'mp3splt' 'mp3val'

it's about 1600 lines and pretty much done

i think i'd like to write a gui version in python, or some other portable lang (NOT java), but i don't know python... hence where you come in if interested :)
