Better Call Paul!
I've got a little bit of knowledge on this subject for reasons I will possible tell you guys later.
First you don't have a degree, you are under 25 most likely, and you are a male. So long story short you are fucked all those things go in to calculating your rate.
If you haven't shop around, always make sure they are not selling you things you do not want, you want an itemized list of things the policy is covering and how much it costs each month. If you don't have to have it either by law get rid of it. Short of the coverage you want.
Also recheck for a better rate with other companies every 6 months.
Also if you have a family member that has served in the military check into USAA from what I have seen they are hard to beat on rates.
I am under 25. I'm probably going to call my insurance agent and see why I'm getting charged what I am. I'll probably check around with other car insurance companies and see what they can offer me if I can't get my price down with who I have. I have a grandfather that served in the military. Would I be able to use that through USAA?
Have you tried the general?
If you're in Canada get your gender legally changed to female. You might also get much cheaper insurance for an RV or motorbike, though I'm not sure if that's only when you have a car on the same policy.
Sadly I'm American with 1/8 Canadian heritage
