I'm in the market for a residential safe, never owned a safe before. I've been reading that everything at costco/home depot is garbage. I somewhat understand the categories, a TL15 or RSC is what I'm looking for. If anyone can educate me about specific brands to avoid I would greatly appreciate it, information is limited online. You could do the floor safe thing, basically dig a hole in your garage concrete floor or something similar. Buy a floor safe and sink it in that. Least they would not carry the safe away to crack open later. Should be fairly safe from fires as well.
