I've been checking Zillow, Hotpads, Trulia and Craigslist for so long. I keep running into scams on both sites. Until 2020 we could find places easily in our price range and never got scammed. In fact the other times we moved we were approved immediately. Now it's weeks in between finding somewhere and they either never answer or won't pick up the phone once we do an application (with a fee every time, it's all scams). Or they do the text code scam on Craigslist a lot. I think all the people from the cities wanted to move away from all the BS, and since they can pay more we've been priced out? On Craigslist they try to charge $500-600 for a single room in a house, when that was enough for a modest house about a year ago. Which isn't fair bc we've actually lived where we want to move, didn't want to leave in the first place and have been trying to move back before all this corona stuff started. People from the blue states acted like Appalachia and the south were a joke until their precious cities became too dangerous. :/ Anyway, do you guys know of another website or some other way to find a place to rent? We have all our stuff packed and ready to go. We need to move before May to be close to a safer hospital and I'm starting to panic lol.

I would love to have a toy hauler... Wife.. Nope. It's just her, I and a dog and a couple of kayaks.

I like how you can make a nice porch out of the big rear doors on toy haulers.
