Yep, school definitely didnt prepare me for financing. Everything I learned was from online forums, who would then direct me to books and lectures and whatnot. Not that I know a lot about financing, but I read as many articles as I could, even if I didnt understand what the hell they were talking about.
Not sure if mortgage backed securities is still a thing, but I'd steer clear of them. Too much manipulation.
I thought you were recommending them towards the end of the other post. Definitely leaning towards finding some bullion, if there's even any that hasn't been snatched up by now. I found out that some of the ammo I've stockpiled isn't as worthless for general carry as I previously imagined. So, I might be doing some Roadside Picnic/Metro 2033 bargaining for surplus bullets, if push comes to shove.

Prices are up, but if you're in the market, these guys seem good.
Hell even bullet components like brass and powder....even reload kits... are getting hard to come by. Stash away enough bullets and you'll be king in a few years.
