Basically the same thing I’ve been doing for two days, cooking! The turkey is brined, the dinner rolls are rising, the pies and nut rolls (made from the walnuts I grew) are all baked, and the vegetables have been chopped for the casserole dishes. Family should be here in about 5 hours. Still have to set the formal dining room with the china and silver and a few other tasks. I’m enjoying the quiet before the activity. Happy thanksgiving! I’m so grateful for my family!
