Which one is more practical to you? I lean on Silver because its easier to divy up into smaller daily units. For example buying bread with silver, is easier than givein out a 1/16th of 1/16th of an oz in gold or something. Thoughts?

From the mining aspect this may also be true, however the regulation of these metals could be key. There is more gold than there is silver being mined.
